Business Development Manager - GCC

Business Development Manager position focused on identifying new business opportunities, driving sales of AV technology solutions. This role will focus on engaging with The End Users involved in large-scale, high-profile projects, Specifing AVP’s Brands & services in GCC. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  1. Focus on developing and executing strategies to build a pipeline of business opportunities for specific AV brands within our portfolio. 
  2. Maintaining strong relationships with the End Users  and AV/ IT Managers within the territories. 
  3. Working with and managing Manufacturers Rep Firms and reseller resources to develop opportunities within the territory. 
  4. Developing and implementing strategies to maintain and/or expand the business within the assigned territory. 
  5. Develop and implement sales strategies for each AV brand in AVP’s portfolio,  
  6. Ensuring tailored approaches that align with market demands and project needs. 
  7. Interfacing with key end customers to understand the customer’s overall objectives and requirements. 
  8. Working with the Channel Managers for conducting product presentations and demonstrations as and when required. 
  9. Sharing ideas and customer needs throughout all phases of sales life cycle (planning, creating, managing, closing) 

 

KPIs: 

  • To grow the AVP client base in GCC and increase AVP’s relationship equity status across new client portfolios 
  • To understand & maximize AVP’s scope in Mega pojects in GCC. 
  • To become an effective AVP BDM across all targeted business lines within 6 months of starting, including a minimum annualized revenue stream in the GCC regions within 12 months of joining 

 

Capabilities: 

  • Solid understanding of present and future Audio-Visual technologies and systems 
  • A natural focus toward relationship building and nurturing 
  • Ability to write effective and professional sales proposals and bid/RFP responses 
  • Innovative problem-solving and idea-generation to constantly value engineer the products and services we offer 
  • Can tackle problems, issues and blockers while always maintaining the customer relationship 
  • Able to portfolio plan and forecast short/medium/long term business levels 
  • Ability to travel on a regular basis to client sites and offices, including overseas travel

Channel Sales Manager position focused on expanding AVP’s established pipeline of Audio-Visual technology focusing on new clients in GCC. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  1. Managing and maintaining an accurate and strong sales opportunity pipeline / funnel. 
  2. Maintaining strong relationships with the Resellers and AV/ IT VARs within the territories. 
  3. Working with and managing Manufacturers Rep Firms and reseller resources to develop opportunities within the territory. 
  4. Developing and implementing strategies to maintain and/or expand sales within the assigned territory. 
  5. Providing accurate monthly and quarterly forecasts of the demand for product(s) within assigned territory. 
  6. Interfacing with key end customers to understand the customer’s overall objectives and requirements. 
  7. Contacting partners and customers on a regular basis to maintain account relationship, advise of new products and service offerings, and obtain feedback 
  8. Expediting the resolution of customer concerns. 
  9. Conducting product presentations and demonstrations as and when required. 
  10. Sharing ideas and customer needs throughout all phases of sales life cycle (planning, creating, managing, closing)
